Amazing article, as always! I’m the one usually falling a victim to the danger zone, leading to panic, etc. Still trying to find a way to comfortsbly swim in the middle zone of growth
It's similar with me – one thing that helped a bit is that I now try to consciously decrease challenges by asking myself when I get an idea to do something: ok, can I achieve this with less effort/challenge or in smaller chunks? It helps framing it in a way that it is being smart and strategic (e.g. lower effort higher reward), versus that it is being lazy/too soft on myself.
But of course, still the most common pattern for me is a vicious circle of taking on too much, then getting overburdened so dropping everything, then taking on too little, getting bored and then taking on too much again 😅
